ok, so this hostel is located right in the center of the mariscal - the "party area" and it is amazingly clean and nice (especially for young backpackers).
the owner (Yoli - a super nice swiss lady) is almost always there to make you drink enough before you go out salsa dancing. - this is a service you don't get anywhere.
apart from the party atmosphere, the hostel is still quite and personal...

super comfi beds. I think the hostel has the best location and in you look at the map of Quito you will understand. Check out quito map at www.minihostels.com/quito
The hostel is great, the prices rage between 6-8 usds depends on the rooms. The private rooms are 8 per person. There is also a nice kitchen I used several times.

the backpackers is by far one of the best hostels in quito, it has a relaxed atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming and friendly as are the people staying there, its located right by all the nightlife yet is still a quiet street, J.S
